How to Become a College Links Student

Are you interested in applying? If you meet our application requirements, you can become an INROADS College Links Scholar!

• INROADS welcomes underserved high school students who meet the following criteria to apply on-line:

• Live in Chicago and Washington D.C. (DC, MD, NOVA) area

• Be current Freshmen or Sophomores for the 2012-2013 school year

• 3.0 GPA or “B” average Minimum

• Be in strong academic standing with solid extracurricular activities

• Have and intent to attend a four-year college or university

• Have an intent to pursue an academic major in the field of business or STEM. This includes, but is not limited to, Accounting, Finance, Communications, Marketing Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial and Chemical), and Liberal Arts (Psychology, English or Sociology)

• Complete the on line application (Option 3) between Monday, February 25, 2013-Friday, April 5, 2013.

• Have your high school guidance counselor send us a transcript of your record

• Have a school official to send us your recommendation form. DOWNLOAD FORM HERE

Remember all applications must be completed on line prior to 11:59 PM CST on Friday, April 5, 2013. Students will be notified of selection by May 3, 2013.
