Focus Area: Self-Management – Financial Planning w/ parents
Morning Session– Financing My Way to College - Scholars will research scholarship opportunities and review the college application process using materials found on the internet. Students will be expected to discuss strategies they are employing and present an action plan for the upcoming school year.
Afternoon Session(with parents)– Financial Planning for College -- Parents will receive updated information as well as participate in round-table conversation on the process of preparing for the “big send-off”. Parents will share experiences in the reality of the “college road-trip” and how to get the best for your college student
