"INROADS...has allowed Ernst & Young to reduce its on-boarding time for new hires."

Is there a distinction in the level and quality of talent of an INROADS Intern? “You bet there is,” says Fredrick Scott, “A major benefit to working with INROADS is that the organization has allowed Ernst & Young to reduce its on-boarding time for new hires. Because of the extensive training INROADS provides, our Interns convert already having an orientation to the firm, and a head start on creating a critical network within the firm.”
Fredrick has worked with INROADS for 10 years. Four of those years he has served as the National Business Coordinator. “This role has provided me with a special sense of accomplishment in helping a young person achieve professional goals,” Fredrick says, “Creating and executing a strategy with the purpose of providing career opportunities for talented, underserved students from diverse backgrounds provides a heightened sense of awareness to diversity and accomplishment,” he adds.
Ernst & Young has been an INROADS Corporate Client for 25 years. During that time, the company has used its partnership to leverage control over diversity efforts. “Several years ago, Ernst & Young fell below INROADS national client radar, and we took a very aggressive approach to regaining that designation. We launched a strategy that now places us in the INROADS Top 5 National Accounts and we are very proud of this distinction,” says Fredrick. “INROADS has worked diligently to service our needs and to bring valuable experience to our firm.”
“Because of my experience, I would recommend the INROADS process to any company looking to hire the best diverse talent. Additionally, hiring young talent from INROADS and assigning internal mentors, has given many of our professionals an extended sense of purpose in developing others,” says Fredrick.
