Ernst & Young LLP
"My INROADS experience was great. I contributed to BP while creating a foundation for my future."
-Jeffrey S. Perry
Meet Jeff Perry, a 1987 INROADS Northeast Ohio INROADS Alumnus. Based in Chicago, Jeff leads Ernst &Young's transaction integration practice in the United States and Canada. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Jeff served as Vice President with consultancy A.T. Kearney.
"I participated in the pre-college component while at John Marshall High School in Cleveland and transitioned to the college component as an Intern at BP Chemicals while attending Babson College. My INROADS experience was great. I contributed to BP while creating a foundation for my future."
Upon earning his BS degree with high distinction, Jeff joined BP Chemicals for two years. He served as a board member of the National INROADS Alumni Association prior to attending the MBA program at the Harvard Business School in 1989.
After earning his MBA in 1991, Jeff began his consulting career at Booz Allen Hamilton in San Francisco and in 1997 joined A.T. Kearney in Chicago. Rising to Vice President, he was a leader in the firm's perspectives on mergers and acquisitions. This prepared him for his current transaction integration practice leadership role at Ernst & Young.
While managing a challenging career, Jeff has never forgotten the value of INROADS. He championed A.T. Kearney's participation with INROADS across North America and also led a holistic strategic assessment on a pro bono basis, which INROADS has embraced as a model for the future. Most recently, this board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Chicago and the Chicago Children's Museum also joined the National INROADS Board of Directors.
The former recipient of the INROADS Alumni Award states, “Leadership requires using influence to drive positive change in organizations.” Representing the full circle of INROADS, Jeff has become a successful leader in his own right, creating opportunities for others, and contributing to the future of INROADS.
