“The media has emphasized how hard it is for 2009 college graduates to find a job, but thanks to INROADS I received a job offer my senior year!”

It is absolutely rocket science for this engineer and INROADS Alumnus. UTC Pratt and Whitney Rocketdyne designs and develops rocket engines, and Camryn doesn't want to be anywhere else.

He recounts applying to INROADS in college and receiving the news of his internship offer with Pratt & Whitney, “My initial reaction to the offer letter I received from the company was shock. I thought it was a fictional letter but once I received a call from a company representative confirming my start date, I knew my next level opportunity had arrived!”

As an INROADS Intern, Camryn was able to perform meaningful tasks to contribute to his sponsoring company. One of his most memorable experiences included presenting information to a NASA astronaut regarding the differences in company hardware.

Camryn is certain that being a part of INROADS made him a better professional and student.

“INROADS provided me with business training, school support, and career advice,” he says, “It also influenced me to give back to the community, reach out to other young individuals seeking a successful career path.”

And the end results? A full-time job.

“The media has continuously emphasized how hard it is for 2009 college graduates to receive a job after school, but thanks to INROADS I was fortunate to have a job offer my senior year!”
