For over 40 years, INROADS has earned a stellar reputation for providing a world of opportunities to underserved students. Alex Parker is one of those students who benefitted from those opportunities. He joined INROADS back in 1988, interned with AT&T, and is still with AT&T.

“I am deeply indebted to INROADS and the opportunity that was provided to me,” says Alex. “The mission is still vital as minorities are still underrepresented in mid and upper-level leadership positions.”

INROADS believes that equipping Interns with the business and leadership skills they need for success after college will translate into long term success in the corporate world. That’s why stories from Alumnus’ like Alex are common at INROADS. In fact, many Interns go on to have long term careers with the same companies they interned for.

Today, Alex has had four promotions with AT&T and currently serves on the INROADS Southeast Board.
