INROADS Appoints Global Communications Executive National Board Member

INROADS, the nation’s top provider of salaried corporate internships and leadership development for talented students, has named Chris Foster, Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, to the National Board of Directors. Foster brings a deep portfolio of business success working within the public and private sectors managing and leading global awareness and communications programs to the national board.  Booz Allen Hamilton has a long history of supporting diversity and inclusion, which is consistent with the mission of INROADS.

Foster has led many national and global public awareness and communications campaigns for top companies including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Amgen, and Intel.  Foster also specializes in working with the federal government and healthcare companies on stakeholder engagement and public education campaigns and has extensive experience in crisis and litigation communications.  ”With his experience leading global awareness programs, we believe Chris can play an integral part in helping INROADS advance our mission and increase our global awareness,” says Forest Harper, President and CEO of INROADS, inc.

As guest lecturer at Columbia University, Western Kentucky University, and Howard University, Foster has taught a variety of disciplines ranging from strategic communications to health policy. His interaction and support of talent student is a lifelong passion. He is a former Board Member of the  regional chapter of the American Heart Association and has served on the Board of Directors for the Child Family Network Center. He also formerly served as Chairman of the U.S. Healthcare Practice for Burson-Marsteller, a global public relations firm, where he led the company’s efforts to expand their footprint into key market sectors.

Foster earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a graduate degree in Applied Behavior Science from Johns Hopkins University.
