Who should I contact for questions about the INROADS program?

Use our contact form and select the Intern Relations group with any questions you may have about the INROADS program.

Where should I send my transcripts or resume?

You may select one of the following methods:

  1. Log in to the website and upload them or
  2. Email them to your INROADS staff contact person

Your staff representative should contact you via e-mail after your application has been reviewed and accepted providing you with their contact information at that time.

Who is my staff representative?

You will receive an email from your staff representative letting you know who they are and what documents are required to complete your application.

It is important to note that your staff representative may not reside in the same city or state as the affiliate you applied to.

When will I be assigned a staff representative?

You will be a assigned a staff representative after your application has been reviewed by an INROADS staff member.

Please return to the website in a few days to check and see if your status has been updated and if you have been assigned a staff representative. If you have any questions about this process please contact the affiliate to which you applied.

Who is eligible for an INROADS Internship?

Does INROADS accept international students?

The INROADS offices in the United States accept international students who are U.S. Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens, INROADS does not accept F1-Visa students.

The INROADS offices in Canada accept Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents only.

The INROADS office in Mexico City has unique requirements and you should contact them directly for more information prior to applying.

Does INROADS accept students on a VISA?

To apply to the INROADS offices in the United States, you must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the US.

To apply to the INROADS offices in Canada, you must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident.

The office in Mexico has unique requirements. You should contact them directly for more information prior to applying.

Which office should I apply to if I attend college out of state?

If you are attending a school that is located in a city (or state) that is different than your home address, it is recommended that you apply to the office closest to the address you will be residing in during the summers you will be interning. INROADS doesn't subsidize housing and rarely do our corporate partners, so the cost of living will usually be the responsibility of the intern.

How do I find out the status of my application?

There are several ways you can determine your status in the INROADS program:

  1. Login to your online account on the INROADS website by clicking on the login link from the home page then entering your username and password.
  2. Contact your INROADS representative via e-mail or phone
  3. Contact the office to which you applied, the office contact information is on their individual page.

You can select an office from any of the drop down lists on the INROADS website.

Please note: The Technical Support staff and the webmaster cannot provide you with information on your status in the INROADS program.

Can I apply to a city other than the city of my permanent address?

It is not recommended, as INROADS doesn't subsidize housing and rarely do our corporate partners. We recommend applying in the area you wish to stay in after graduating from college.

What does it cost to participate in INROADS?

While there is no application fee, if you are selected as an INROADS Intern, you may be required to pay a minimal Intern activity fee. Questions regarding these fees should be directed to an INROADS staff member at the local office in your area.

When is the online application due?

U.S. students should complete the INROADS application before March 31st.
